I have been an employee of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse
for over a year. During that time I have mainly worked at the Boys
and Girls Club of LaCrescent. I love working with children and the
Club gives me a great opportunity to work with kids of all ages and backgrounds.
Over the past year I have had many opportunities to improve my teaching
skills and knowlegde through the Boys and Girls Club. I have been
in charge of organizing and running the following programs:
Community Service
Swimming Club
Arts and Crafts
Reading Club
Junior Staff
I have also had the opportunity to do volunteer work through the Club
including:
The Boys and Girls Club is a great way to get involved in your community
and to gain experience working with children. The Club is always
looking for volunteers and welcomes anyone to stop in and visit.
The Boys and Girls Club is a safe and positive place for kids and is a
great way for children to meet people and just hang out.
